The Chasm

La Garganta Del Diablo, Iguazu Falls, Argentina.

Sunrise through the morning mist of Iguazu falls. I was extremely lucky to get this image. The park doesn't open to visitors until 9am, well after sunrise. But the previous day, I met a local ranger who was surprised that I had her same job in Yosemite, years ago. She invited me into the park the following morning through an unmarked alternate entrance, and I was able to enjoy this sunrise completely alone. Photo © copyright by Michael Anderson.
