I AM CURRENTLY TRAVELING AND CANNOT TAKE NEW PRINT ORDERS. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.
The autumn colors of Patagonia are beyond compare. I've never seen such vibrant reds, yellows and oranges. Often times the full spectrum of color can exist on a single tree. Despite the beauty of the scene, photographing this area is a challenge. Patagonia is famous for it's epic winds and I was able to get the leaves to sit still in only 3 of the 40 images I took here. This small waterfall is a 45 minute walk from the small town of El Chalten, the main base for trekking in the Fitzroy range. Walking through the tapestry of fall color up to the icy blue lakes and glaciers of Cerro Torre is an experience I will never forget. Photo © copyright by Michael Anderson.
