A deserted pink sand beach on one of the small islets of Fakarava Atoll in the Tuamotus. These low lying islands are north of Tahiti and they harbor some of the most spectacular diving and snorkelling in of the South Pacific. A ring of small islands like this one form a barrier around the massive turquoise lagoon like gemstones on a necklace.
